Philips DiamondVision

Since I can't get original xenon for Fabia (not exists, as far as I know) but I wanted white light, my findings  came to Philips DiamondVision as best for what I need.

I saw lamps on few site and best choice was at PowerBulbs. Delivery took 5 days from UK.

Lamps cost (with free shipping) 194 NIS.


Installation was pretty easy until moment when you need to unplug old bulbs. I took me 5 minutes just for doing this. And another 10 minutes for plugin and turning inside.

And final result was impressive! Totally worth it. (sorry for bad environment setup :-)

Stowage boxes

Blog is not forgotten :-) just busy time.

Czech this out, got another package from homeland.

There are two stowage boxes for front seats and 2 oil filters.

Now, to install them you will need four М4х20 bolts for each box (got in Zaifer for 5 NIS everything).

And special Spline XZN M10 bit for 12 corners star bolt that hold sits.

If you do it yourself - disconnect ground from battery or try not disconnecting sit's air bags because an error can come out.

MAP sensor or charge pressure sender G31

These pictures I took when replaced air filter replacement. I thought it MAF sensor that need to clean sometimes, but it's not.

It's cost about $60.

30K or 2-Year Service

As always, I bought Valvoline SynPower 5W-40 from Alon Halafim for 200 NIS few days before service.

And called to Hagoren garage to schedule a service. They told me to come in a few days - was busy week for them.
Alexander took my car and replaced oil and oil filter, checked other things, made a compliment about good care of the car (I washed engine few month ago) and in 30 minutes all was done.

Total spent 574 NIS...

Need to replace brake fluid in Jan 2013 - each 2 years.
Also I replaced air and fuel filter at home, will post later more details.
